Fall is here! It's the perfect time to write.

This is a sacred and playful time for your growth and development. Take care of yourself first. Tell the people that will "need" you during the weekend that you are taking space to focus and choose to be undisturbed. That being said, we have built in plenty of breaks so that you don't get zoom fatigue. So you can tend to yourself, your brood, your puppy, go for a walk, eat some lunch, do a writing assignment & practice away from a screen.

How to prepare for the weekend retreat?

Please bring three pieces of writing or writing ideas to shape and share.

There is no pressure here, sometimes when you start reading something out loud to a witness it shines a different light on your writing. You can bring undeveloped story ideas or full chapters, either way there will be an opportunity to get some support shaping if you ask for it.

We are also building in writing sessions for feel free to come empty handed.

Rev. Liliana Barzola

Mestiza, intuitive healer and storyteller. The magic of words have kept her going through hard times. She loves the alchemy of cooking, the poetry or John O’Donohue, I Love Lucy episodes and anything with Angela Landsbury in it. She is dyslexic which makes writing difficult, but she still manages to push through her insecurities and creates content regularly. She is the author of, The Ancient Women’s Circle. Her work has been featured in Bustle, Swaay, Yoga Digest and Conscious Connection Magazine. Click here to check out her website.

Jenna Dalton

We asked Jenna to join our team because of her 20+ years as a teacher and facilitator. She is currently writing a musical.

She identifies as a Bi-Pan woman, who like many of us, is fed up with the white patriarchal society that surrounds us. She was born with that spiritual awareness that many of our clients identify within themselves. She believes in a person’s wholeness and clearing energetic obstacles & clutter is her JAM!

Drew Vandiver

Drew Vandiver has always been a little too much. 'Talks to much' on every report card. Too passionate, too stuborn, too wild and too sensitive. He grew up in a small southern town but only really wanted to be gay and French. He loves Elaine May and Dolly Parton with equal zeal. Polyamorous, pansexual and finally at peace with his own path. He is a screenwriter and playwright and recently completed his first book, the story of a man's search for spiritual truth accompanied by his dog who speaks English as a second language.
